Preparation for interview
- The night before your interview, prepare everything you need in advance from interview outfit to question asked by interviewee and to getting a good night sleep.
- Arrive early by 1 hour at the premise to get comfortable with your surroundings.
- Be friendly to anyone from cleaner to CEO when you arrive at the place.
- Introduce yourself to a stranger(eg. receptionist or future colleague) at the workplace so as to break the ice.
- Greet the interviewers and treat the interview as a meeting between two parties and not a one-way interrogation.
- Do not speak like you are reading from a script, just relax and speak with confidence and be humble.
- Do not keeping talking and let your body language do the talking during interview.
3 Important tips that focused on physiology
- Do not drink too much water before interview, as one will sweat profusely from the tense situation if one is easily nervous.
- Never go for an interview on an empty stomach, eat a bread or a banana to energize yourself as you never know how long the interview will be
- When feeling nervous for interview, always remember to breathe in and out deeply, clench your fist then count 1 to 6. Repeat till you are relaxed and comfortable.
